Reply Ann Gilberg December 26, 2020 at 9:31 pm Hey Stephanie 🙂 You can do it for fun 🙂 But it really has no practice value to it. It is far far aways form being anything like human skin. Reply Jeanne January 4, 2021 at 4:25 pm Hi Ann, Thank you for your videos, they are great! I read in a tattoo book that pig skin is closer to human skin and that it’s helpful to practice tattoo. Have you ever tried it or heard about it? Cheers! Reply Ann Gilberg January 6, 2021 at 11:06 am Hey Jeanne 🙂 Thank you for your kind words 🙂 I have heared about it but I don’t know anyone who tried it yet. You can go to the butcher if there is one near to, that actually still butchers theirself and ask them for it. People did this to practice before there was silicone skin. It might be that it feels a little realer than artificial skin but it still doesn’t heal or has bloodflow in the lower layers of the skin like the skin on a living being so it still has the same disadvantages as practice skin. Reply Jessica May 10, 2021 at 12:52 pm hey, where are you buying reelskin exactly? There are their official sites but one doesnt send to europe and the UK site has high shipping cost. Is there a cheaper site who ships to Germany (killerinktattoo.de doesnt have them in stock :/) love jessica Reply Ann Gilberg August 9, 2021 at 12:12 pm Hey Jessica, I am really sorry for the late reply. I buy from Reelskin UK directly 😉 They also have some special offers every once in a while. Which is nice 😉 Ann <3 Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
